#GivingTuesday (1st December in 2015) is recognised as a global day of giving. After the sales of Black Friday and the online shopping boom on Cyber Monday, #GivingTuesday is an opportunity to come together to show the world why it’s good to give!
Whether it’s making a donation, volunteering your time or just spreading the good word of a charity, #GivingTuesday is a call to action for everyone who wants to give something back.
Children’s Heartbeat Trust is excited to be part of this year’s campaign and we want you to help us raise awareness of what we do via the following methods:
#SeasonalSelfie – Show us some love on #GivingTuesday by tweeting and posting your seasonal selfie and texting HEARTS to 70660 to donate £5 to the charity. Please include #SeasonalSelfie & #GivingTuesdayNI in your post.
If you wish you can tag other people in your post who you would like to nominate to continue the #SeasonalSelfie for CHT!
Dont forget to post it on Tuesday 1st December (#GivingTuesday) for us to share! It can be anything that relates to Christmas. From a christmas jumper selfie, to eating a mince pies – let your imagination run wild! It’s all a bit of festive fun to help raise awareness for what we do.
The Gift of Time – #GivingTuesday is also an opportunity for you to give your time to a charity through volunteering. We have a number of volunteering opportunities coming up to Christmas. If you would like to donate your time to CHT, then please get in touch for further information on our volunteering opportunities.
