In Episode 4 of The Heart Heroes Podcast, Cathy joins Max and his mum Carol on Clark Clinic, who share their journey so far as a Heart Family.
Max (9) was born with a complex heart condition and also has Autism. He has undergone three major open-heart surgeries, but this hasn’t stopped Max from living life to the fullest! Max has lots of hobbies and is also a budding journalist, so we were delighted when he wanted to get in front of the camera and tell his story.
In this episode, we also hear from Max’s Mum Carol who shares her perspective and journey so far as a Heart Mum. She shares with us the ups and downs of Max’s heart journey, his recovery, and her advice for other heart families out there.
