We’re delighted to announce that Children’s Heartbeat Trust has secured two charity places for the TCS London Marathon in April 2027.

Why Run for Children’s Heartbeat Trust?
Every week in Northern Ireland, four babies on average are born with heart disease and there are currently 4,000 children and young people living with heart disease across N.I
Children’s Heartbeat Trust supports these children and their families by providing vital services to help them cope with the challenges that comes with living with heart disease. Support that makes a real difference every single day.
From emotional support to funding vital equipment and resources, the charity is there at every stage of a child’s journey.
By running London in 2027, you’ll be helping us to continue to be their for little hearts now and into the future.
How do I apply?
Firstly, we recommend that you apply through the ballot system to see if you can secure a place.
This way, you will receive the same support one of our charity place runners, but there is no registration fee and no fundraising target, we ask that you raise as much as you can.
You can enter the Ballot HERE. Results on whether you have been successful will be announced sometime in June 2026.
If you do not secure a place in the ballet and you are interested in taking one of our charity places, please email [email protected] and we will let you know when our application process opens – after the ballot results have been announced.
All applications forms received (when opened) will be reviewed, and we’ll contact you using the details you provided to confirm whether you’ve been selected.
When reviewing applications, we consider factors such as:
- Your connection to Children’s Heartbeat Trust or motivation for running in aid of us
- Your previous fundraising experience (if any)
- If you have ran London before or any other marathons
- How confident you feel about reaching the minimum fundraising target
- Your ideas or plans for fundraising to reach this target
Please note: Submitting an application from does not guarantee a TCS London Marathon place.
TCS London Marathon Initial Charity Terms and Conditions
Once the successful participant has been awarded one of our two charity places a registration fee of £100 per participant will be requested to secure your place. This is non-refundable.
The entry is for one London Marathon place only. It does not include flights or accommodation. This must be arranged by the participant.
We ask the successful participants to raise a minimum of £2,500 in sponsorship. We will of course be on hand to support you and help you reach this target successfully.
