We are delighted to team up with Skydive Ireland for this incredible fundraising challenge. You’ll take to the skies with a fully qualified instructor, experience the thrill of freefall at up to 120mph, before floating gently back to earth with breath-taking views below.
Your commitment, courage and fundraising efforts will make a real and lasting difference. Every pound raised helps Children’s Heartbeat Trust provide practical, emotional and financial support to heart families across Northern Ireland.
What does it cost?
A registration fee of £99 per person (non-refundable) secures your place. We ask all participants to raise a minimum of £500.
This covers the cost of your jump and makes a vital contribution towards supporting local heart families.
You can choose to cover the cost of the jump yourself, meaning even more of your fundraising will go directly towards our work. We encourage participants to aim high with their fundraising goals and raise as much as possible.
Where does it take place?
The tandem skydive takes place at Skydive Ireland, Garvagh, Co. Derry/Londonderry.
Please note that you should keep the full day free for your jump. All participants will receive a registration time from Skydive Ireland in advance.
The jump is weather dependent and may be subject to change.
Are there any restrictions?
- You must be over 16 years of age to participate in a tandem skydive.
- You must be 82kg (13 stone) or under if you are 5ft 4in (163cm) or less.
- If you are over 5ft 4in, the standard weight limit is 95kg.
- If you are over 95kg, allowances may be possible. Please contact us for further information.
- Participants aged 16 to 18 require written parental consent.
- If you have a medical condition, you should seek advice from your doctor to ensure you are fit and able to take part. A medical form may need to be completed.
- All participants are required to complete a waiver before their jump.

Your £99 non-refundable registration fee is payable at the time of booking.
Once registered, Skydive Ireland will send you everything you need to prepare for your jump. The Children’s Heartbeat Trust team will then be in touch with your fundraising pack, tips, advice and charity t-shirt to help you reach your fundraising target.

Video Packages
Capture every moment of your challenge with a professional video package.
A 4K video and stills package is available for £120, including three edited versions of your jump video and a selection of high-quality photographs.
One video edit will be available to view before you leave the centre, with the remaining edits emailed afterwards.
Video packages can be selected when booking and must be paid for on the day of your jump.
