SUMMARY:SuperHalf Series - Cardiff Half Marathon 2027
DESCRIPTION:Run Cardiff SuperHalf!\nWe’re delighted to announce that Children’s Heartbeat Trust has secured two charity places in each of the prestigious SuperHalfs races which will take you to Lisbon\, Prague\, Berlin\, Copenhagen\, Cardiff and Valencia in 2027. \nThese are the six top European half marathons offering unforgettable routes through historic cities and you have the chance to take part and make every mile count for local children living with heart disease! \nThe Cardiff Half Marathon will take place in 4th October 2027. \nThe route will take runners past the capital’s most iconic landmarks. It starts outside Cardiff Castle\, past Principality and Cardiff City Stadiums. Runners will take in Penarth Marina\, before crossing the barrage and heading to Cardiff Bay past the Norwegian Church and Wales Millennium Centre. A loop of Roath Park lake is completed before the grandstand finish in Cardiff’s beautiful civic centre. \n\n\n\n\n\n\nThe SuperHalf Series isn’t just a race – it’s a incredible experience and when you run for a charity close to your heart it can become something even bigger.  Make 2027 your year to take on one\, some or all of the Super Half Series and give hope and support to local children and their families living with heart disease. \nWhy run for Children’s Heartbeat Trust?\nEvery week in Northern Ireland\, four babies on average are born with heart disease and there are currently 4\,000 children and young people living with heart disease across N.I \nChildren’s Heartbeat Trust supports these children and their families by providing vital services to help them cope with the challenges that comes with living with heart disease. Support that makes a real difference every single day. \nFrom emotional support to funding vital equipment and resources\, the charity is there at every stage of a child’s journey. \nBy running with your heart and sole\, you’ll be helping us to continue to be their for little hearts now and into the future. \n\n\n\n\n\nHow do I apply?\n\n\n\nPlease complete the following application form HERE and we will be in touch. \n\n\n\n\nAll applications forms received will be reviewed\, and we’ll contact you using the details you provided to confirm whether you’ve been selected. \nWhen reviewing applications\, we consider factors such as: \n\nYour connection to Children’s Heartbeat Trust or motivation for running in aid of us\nYour previous fundraising experience (if any)\nIf you have ran any previous Half Marathons\, running events or Super Half Series.\nHow confident you feel about reaching the minimum fundraising target\nYour ideas or plans for fundraising to reach this target\n\nPlease note: Submitting an application from does not guarantee Super Half Series place.  \nSuper Half Series 2027 Initial Charity Terms and Conditions \nOnce the successful participant has been awarded one of our two charity places in Lisbon a registration fee of £50 per participant will be requested to secure your place. This is non-refundable. \nThe entry is for one Lisbon SuperHalf Series place only. It does not include flights or accommodation. This must be arranged by the participant. \nWe ask the successful participants to raise a minimum of £450 in sponsorship. It is Spain best and fastest Half Marathon.
