Corporate
Corporate Fundraising is an amazing way to support local children with heart disease through your business or organisation. Together, we can make a lasting impact for local children.
There are a variety of ways your company can help from gifts in kind, charity partnerships to one-off fundraising events, no matter what form, we welcome your support.
How you can help
Charity Partnerships
Nowadays many companies select a charity to support for a one or two-year period, so that they can focus their energies on making a meaningful impact. Employees often have the option to select a charity they wish their company to consider or one that is close to their hearts. Should this be the case we would be extremely grateful if you would consider Children’s Heartbeat Trust.
As a charity partner, we can work closely with you to develop and assist in the implementation of your fundraising plans. A charity partnership is a great way for employers and employees to come together to support local children and show your company’s commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility.
The sense of pride employees gain from giving back to the local community offers a win-win opportunity for all involved, not least our heart families.
Fundraising at work
Many businesses and organisations organise a one -off fundraiser in their offices or perhaps want to get involved in a specific event. From a Hearty Tea Party’s to entering a Relay Team to the Belfast Marathon, your support and fundraising efforts will be sure to boost staff morale, promote teamwork and make a huge difference for a local child in need of our support services.
We can work with you to provide fundraising advice, guidance, support and fundraising materials to help get the most out of your fundraising activity. Many workplaces can offer match funding for employee’s efforts which can double the impact of your fundraising efforts.
Corporate donations
Many businesses don’t adopt a charity of the year and may make a yearly one-off donation in support of a charity. This could be a donation at Christmas or through the businesses charitable trust. A one-off donation, no matter what size, can still make a difference and mean the world to us in helping ensure local children with heart disease receive the support they need. Please consider nominating Children’s Heartbeat Trust if there is an opportunity to nominate a beneficiary through your organisation or workplace and we can discuss ways to formally acknowledge your donation.
Sponsorship/Gifts in Kind
We welcome sponsorship opportunities which can support or benefit the children and families we help. Your company could sponsor one of our family events, publications, resources or fundraising campaigns. This can provide branding opportunities, generate positive PR and demonstrate your commitment to your local community.
Perhaps your company has a product or service they can gift in kind? This can come in all shapes and sizes, from donating a raffle prize, to providing refreshments for our family events or food for our parent’s accommodation.
If this is something your company would be interested in, please do get in touch. We would be delighted to have your support and discuss opportunities available.
Payroll giving
Did you know you can donate through your salary before tax? It’s the most efficient way to donate to a cause close to your heart. As your donation is tax free a monthly donation of £10 would only cost you £8 (if you pay basic rate tax of 20%). Also by donating regularly, it means we can plan our services much more effectively for the future meaning we can help support more families who need our support.
Ask your employer or pension provider if they use a specific Payroll Giving Agent. If so, they will be able to set up a regular donation on your behalf for your chosen amount. Alternatively, you can complete our form HERE and your regular donation will be set up.
Cause related marketing
Do you have a product or service you would like to support Children’s Heartbeat Trust through? You can donate a percentage of profits to support our ongoing work. This method of fundraising has many benefits including being associated with a well-known, respected charity as well as media and PR opportunities to knowledge your support.
