Mental Health
Life can be difficult at times. Some days we are happy. On other days, we are sad, we worry, and we are stressed. It is normal to have lots of emotions. Some days, we have them totally under control, and at other times, they seem out of control.
For some people, living with CHD can make these emotions even more complicated. For others, it has no effect on their lives. Most people are somewhere in the middle.
Although speaking to your family, friends, and other heart families can help greatly, we have a private and confidential counselling service free to heart families in Northern Ireland should you want to speak to a professional counsellor.
