Giant Drop

Become a brave warrior like Finn McCool and abseil the Giant Drop of Fairhead in Ballycastle! This one-of-a-kind, unforgettable challenge will see you descend the 90 feet sea cliff at one of Northern Ireland’s most iconic locations on the North Coast.

Take in the breath-taking views as you complete the ‘Giant Drop’ in support of local children living with heart disease, and under the guidance of our fully qualified instructors.

Sunday 22^nd June 2025

Start Time: 10am sharp.

Location: Fairhead Carpark, Ballycastle.

Registration:

Early bird registration £22.00 (up until 30^th April) and £30 thereafter. This is non-refundable.

Minimum Sponsorship to raise: £120

You will receive your fundraising pack and t-shirt upon registration so you can raise as much sponsorship as possible for your challenge. We suggest a minimum sponsorship target of £120 which will help provide key support services for local families.

T & C’s

• You must be aged over 12 years old to complete the abseil. Anyone under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. The parent or guardian does not need to abseil but must be present at the event.
• The abseil is totally weather dependent and may be subject to change.
• If you have any form of medical condition, you must seek advice from your doctor to certify you are fit and able to partake.
