Hearty Hike

Big Steps for Little Hearts

From sea to summit you will conquer the highest mountain within the Mournes, Slieve Donard under the guidance of out fully qualified instructors.

Climb approximately 10k to reach the summit. If you haven’t climbed the mournes then this is one for your bucket list!

We will ascend & descend Slieve Donard via the Glen River route, covering 6 miles and reaching the summit height of 850 metres (2,790 ft).  On average, it takes around 2.5-3.5 hours to ascend and 3hrs to descend at a nice mellow pace.

Wether you take on the challenge yourself or with friends and family, we encourage a real team atmosphere on the hill, walking together and providing encouragement to each other every step of the way.

Every step you take will help us to continue to support children and young people diagnosed with heart disease, right here in Northern Ireland.
