Each year in Northern Ireland, around four babies are born every week with congenital heart disease that will require the support of Children’s Heartbeat Trust. Jozie is just one of these incredible children whom we have had the privilege of supporting during his heart journey.
This Christmas, Children’s Heartbeat Trust will support more than 50 families in hospital and those travelling outside of Northern Ireland for their child’s life saving surgery. This will include over £13,500 in financial grants.
We make regular ward visits to support families and offer a listening ear. Over the festive period alone, our family support team will make over 120 support visits to families spending time in hospital.
