Role 1: Communications & Marketing Manager
Children’s Heartbeat Trust is looking for a creative, passionate Communications & Marketing Manager to help tell the powerful stories of children, young people and families living with congenital heart disease across Northern Ireland.
This is an exciting, hands-on role for a skilled storyteller who can lead engaging campaigns, grow our digital presence and help amplify the real impact of our work across all platforms and media. You’ll work closely with teams across the charity, capturing moments that matter and shaping how we connect with supporters, partners and the wider community.

Role 2: Youth Support Officer
Children’s Heartbeat Trust is seeking a compassionate and enthusiastic Youth Support Officer to join our Family & Youth Services team and help make a real difference in the lives of children and young people living with congenital heart disease across Northern Ireland.
This rewarding part-time role focuses on delivering youth and sibling support programmes, organising events and outreach activities, and helping young people build confidence, resilience and meaningful connections with others who understand their journey. You’ll work directly with young people aged 7–10 and their siblings, supported by a passionate team and dedicated volunteers.
This is a unique opportunity for someone who is people-focused, creative and motivated to support young people in a caring, community-based setting.
Key details
- Hours: 22.5 hours per week (including some evenings and weekends)
- Contract: 2-year fixed term
