Sensory toys are fun, interactive, colourful pieces of equipment designed to help stimulate your child’s senses through light, colour, sound and texture. All of our equipment is available on loan to heart families for use with children and young people of all ages.
Sensory toys aim to promote relaxation and encourage positive behaviours and emotions. They can also be used to encourage interaction and communication, reduce stress and prevent boredom. We wanted to make this fantastic equipment easily accessible to all heart families so we are delighted to have our own lending library so you can trial items in the comfort of your own home.
We have a wide range of items from tiny spotty spinner balls through to giant bubble tubes and there really is something to suit everyone. Many of our parents enjoy the equipment as much, if not more so than the children! All items should always be used under adult supervision.
