Local Support

By listening to what heart families tell us, we work to find the most beneficial ways to support children with heart disease and their families – no matter what their circumstances may be.

When you are told your child has a heart condition it is natural to feel lots of different emotions; fear, stress, isolation and frustration to name but a few.

We have a range of family support services to help you from the point of your child’s diagnosis whether at an ante-natal appointment, at birth or in later years. Download the ‘General Family Support and Local Groups’ Submission Form

Family Support Services

Have a look at our key family support services below and get in contact if you would like to speak to a member of our team.

Children’s Heartbeat Trust has been there from the beginning. At the start we didn’t know what to expect, however the team has never been more than an email or phone call away and for that we will be forever grateful.

I have nothing but praise for CHT. The team give all heart families fantastic support and reassurance.

From the day I met the team I was supported on all levels. Always there, day and night, for advice, reassurance and a place to stay at the hospital when times were tough.
