Travelling for surgery brings about lots of stress, fears and worries from different places. Although we can’t take it away we can help relieve some pressure by offering financial support to heart families travelling outside of Northern Ireland for cardiac surgery or investigations.

Once you have received a date, contact a member of the family support team. Our family support worker will take down your details and call you a few days before you travel to get your bank details.
Once we have your bank details we will transfer the financial support into your account via BACs payment and keep in touch with you whilst you are away.
Our family support workers are only a phone call away if you ever need a listening ear or for some non-medical advice.
